Here are user-friendly instructions for your students and faculty to activate their New York Times access.

Get started today by following these simple steps to activate your New York Times access:

1. Go to nytimes.com/passes. 
2. Click “Create Account” using your school-issued email and click “Continue.” If you do not already have an account, you will need to create a password. 
3. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your email address to complete the account setup. Click the link in the email to validate your email address.
4. You will be prompted to indicate if you are Student or Staff.  Staff access is valid for either one or four years from the date of registration. Student access is valid until December of their graduation year. 
5. You will get a notice that “You’ve Claimed your NYTimes Pass!” Click “Get Started” to continue setting up and personalizing your New York Times experience.
